Below are a few of our most frequently asked questions before starting your website at Business Scents. If you have specific questions, please use the Contact Form or email support@businessscents.com to let us know.

How do I use a domain that I already own?

To use a domain you've already purchased elsewhere, you simply need to click "Already have a domain?" on the homepage then enter your existing domain name and select the extension (.com, .net, etc). You'll be asked to complete the purchase process to set up your new website.

When you're ready to point your domain to your new Business Scents website, you'll need to change your nameservers at your domain registrar (wherever you purchased your domain). GoDaddy, Network Solutions, or any other domain registrar usually make this process really simple and you should be able to find help documentation if you need it. Contact us if you need assistance and we'll gladly help out.

Can I upgrade my package after I purchase my site?

Yes, you can upgrade your package at any time. Simply contact us to let us know your website name and which package you'd like to add, and we'll take care of it!

After I register are there any additional fees by the month or year?

Your initial registration fee includes website hosting and domain registration for one year. After the first year, you'll be charged $20/month for business class web hosting and $15 each year for domain renewal, a total of $255 each year. Your will always have access to editing and changing your website on the Business Scents site as long as you continue to maintain hosting and domain registration.

How much information can I put on each page?

As much as you'd like. Each page will stretch to accommodate the copy and photos you'd like to add. One template's homepage limits content on the homepage because of the design, but the interior pages are fully expandable for elaboration.

What if I want to add more than 5 pages to my site?

You can add as many additional pages as you'd like for $20 per page, paid only once. We think you'll find that 5 pages are more than enough to cover your business's basic information and that additional information can be added for classes or products through those packages as you need. You can also contact us to set up a blog system to match your site where you can share articles and posts with your visitor.

How will I receive payment for my products or class registrations?

Payments will be sent using PayPal. You'll need to set up a free PayPal account at PayPal.com. Then, you'll simply enter the email address that is associated with that PayPal account when you set up your website. Customers will use the checkout at PayPal to complete their payments, and you'll be able to use all of the simple tools at PayPal for shipping, discounting, refunds and withdrawals.

Can I change my product prices and descriptions on my own whenever I wish?

Abslutely! You can easily edit your products, prices, descriptions, categories - anything - at any time.

How many products and categories can I add?

As many as you'd like! You can easily sell hundreds of products using these designs.

Can I change my class prices, dates and descriptions on my own?

Abslutely! You can easily edit your classes, dates, prices - anything - at any time.

Where is my site hosted?

Your website is hosted on a dedicated server with other Business Scents websites at HostGator.com.

How do I get help if something is not working?

Let's hope that never happens! You can use our Contact form to submit any issues, bugs or questions for support. We'll answer as quickly as possible during business hours and respond to all emergencies in the evenings and on weekends.
